Finding homes for wonderful animals

Phone Number:
Please understand that most of our shelter animals come with underlying issues such as total lack of human contact which leads them to be timid, unsure of most situations, scared and want to hide, will not let you touch them for any length of time, etc. We have resources to help in any situation but the more we move animals around, the longer it takes for them to overcome fears.
Please understand that most of our animals have not been fully vaccinated, dewormed, or spayed/neutered. Battlefords Humane Society provides the necessary veterinary care needed, however there is a possibility that your foster animal may be carrying parasites such as worms, fleas, ticks, or mange when they initially arrive in your home. In unusual circumstances, they could also be carrying viruses such as parvo or distemper. This is why it is important that all of your pets be up to date on their vaccines and deworming. In addition, we recommend keeping your foster animal separate from your own pets until checked by a vet.
I certify that the above information is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that providing false information is grounds for denial of my application or termination of the foster relationship. I understand the animal, even though in my care, remains the property of the Battlefords Humane Society. If  for any reason I cannot keep the animal for the agreed upon foster period, I agree that I will return this animal to the Battlefords Humane Society.
Thank you for contacting us. We will get back to you as soon as possible
