Donating Online
We have a new process and new system that we have recently started using and it makes online donating so much easier. If you want to donate to us but can't make it in, you can use your credit card to send a donation by clicking on the link below. For donations of $20.00 and over we will send out a tax receipt.

Wish List. What Can I Bring?
Below is a list of things we are always in need of here at the animal shelter. These items can be donated any time and are always greatly appreciated. Also, if you bring in your receipt when you drop off these items we can provide you with a tax receipt for the amount you spent on the items.

Other Ways to Donate
There are many ways to Donate to The Battlefords Humane Society. We are a non profit organization and rely on donations for much of our operation. Any donation helps us and our fur babies out greatly. Below are different ways to donate to us that you may not have been aware of. Take a peak and check out the options.
DOG MOB
The DOG MOB can be "let loose" on your friends or neighbors lawn with a $100 donation to The Battleford's Humane Society Shelter-Us Building Fund. Call The Shelter to arrange your mobbings! 306-446-2700

Tags for Hope
Hey everyone check out tags for hope. They have cute dog tags that you can get for your animals with all their information on the tag and makes it that much easier for someone to get a hold of you if they find your sweet little furr baby lost..... The bonus is they also donate to animals shelters like us for each tag that is bought and purchased from their company. Click on the link below and check it out.
Sponsoring An Animal
Here at the Battlefords Humane Society we have other options for donating. You may not be able to have a furr baby or you may not be ready for another one, or you may just not have the time for one but you still want to help these furr babies out. Sponsoring an animal can be a very heart warming feeling and rewarding at the same time. You can sponsor an animals adoption fee and then the animal is paid for which not only helps out the furr baby but it may just help out a family that wants to adopt the furr baby.... If this is something you are interested in doing you can either contact us on the contact page about it or you can come on down to the shelter and we will be more than happy to help you out... Can't wait to hear from you!
Donor Recognition & Naming Opportunities
We love to show gratitude towards our donors! Battlefords Humane Society recognizes and appreciates the generosity of individuals, businesses and organizations that invest in our facilities, programs and operational funding. We base our recognition program on donor needs and wishes—as well as the availability of recognition pieces—while respecting the individuality of the donor, donation and facility as a whole. Most naming opportunity donations can be made as a one-time donation, or on a monthly or annual basis.
Our Naming Opportunities & Donor Recognition possibilities in our shelter are subject to availability and may include:
- $5,000 to $10,000 donation: Plaque on a bench in/around the shelter, or a Kennel condo plaque named in honour of you or your business for a minimum 5 year term.
- $10,000 to $15,000 donation: Naming opportunities for smaller rooms in the facility for a minimum 5 year term, based on availability.
- $15,000 to $500,000 donation: Animal Care Centre naming rights for a minimum 5 year term, based on availability.
- $500,000+ donation: Animal Care Centre naming rights for lifetime, based on availability.
Kennel Sponsorships
Promote your business while supporting life-saving care of shelter animals! We offer kennel sponsorships for a 5 year period (with options to renew). This sponsorship is a great way to have your business recognized as a supporter of Battlefords Humane Society all year round. Kennel sponsorships are also open to individuals and are a special way to pay tribute to a loved one.

The 2024 Battlefords Humane Society Tails for Hope Gala Tickets are ON SALE NOW!
The Battlefords Humane Society is thrilled to announce the return of our annual gala with a new theme, Tails for Hope. This glamorous affair marks our premier event to secure vital funds aimed at supporting the wellbeing of the vulnerable animals in our care. We invite you to don your finest black-tie attire, come be a part of an unforgettable evening full of glamour and goodwill dedicated to giving our animals the love and care they deserve. All proceeds from this event will be used to support the well-being of animals in our care and shelter operations.
All guests must be 19+ to attend.
Ticket Information:
Regular Tickets: $65 per person or $500 per table (up to 8 people)
