Does Your Dog Have C.L.A.S.S.?
Canine Life and Social Skills is an educational program to promote training focused on the use of positive reinforcement and to strengthen relationships between humans and their canine companions. The classes are fun and innovative, incorporating games and prizes for our students. At the end of the programs, dogs and their handlers will be evaluated and tested to see if they qualify for their certificate!! Classes are for dogs 4 months and older and must be fully vaccinated. But what about those young puppies and the first time dog owner?? Don't worry, we are also offering Puppy Playschool!!!! These classes are for anyone with a new puppy, ages 8-16 weeks!! Puppies will have socialization time, and owners will learn how to deal with all those puppy behaviors like chewing, coming when called, biting, crate training and more!!!!! Feline Behavior Consulting:
Are you struggling with behaviors with your beloved feline friend. Possible litter problems? Scratching unwanted things or maybe just some wonderful catitude that your feline friend has developed? We decided to get one of our staff members certified in Feline Behavior Modification to be able to help out with our own shelter cats as well as people from the community so they don't have to re home their beloved feline companion. Micro Chipping Clinics:
We offer our micro chip clinic two times a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The cost is $40.00 and it only takes 10 minutes of your time. Our wonderful vet comes into the shelter to be able to help us with this service. If your interested in being put on our list for our upcoming microchip please feel free to call us at the shelter and we will be happy to help you. 306-446-2700.
Nail Trims:
We offer Nail trims here at the shelter. If you don't know how to clip your furr babies nails or they may not cooperate with you to be able to have it done give us a call and we will be more than happy to help you out. It costs you $5.00 and you can call to book a time to bring your furr baby down to us to have their nails done. 306-446-2700.
City/Town Licences:
We sell City/Town Licences here at the shelter. Keep in mind Licences need to be renewed every year by December 31st. We can do up the paper work and issue the tag right here at the shelter. We do require proof of rabies vaccination. We are only able to accept cash only though for the Licences as the money goes straight to the City/Town.
